Reporting culture-Invisible injuries-pain in waiting

All would have experienced invisible injuries  without visible external scratches, cuts etc.s

Examples can be falls, hit against,  jerks,  bumpy rides, etc.

These may or may not lead to immediate pain, but we suffer for days later from pain, some can be for years particularly back ache.

In industry, generally we consider lost time injuries for reporting, others only for safety performance assessment. But, incidents causing invisible injuries may not be reported and there will not be opportunity for workplace improvement.

Hence, the saying that all incidents including nearmisses shall be reported,  investigated and preventive measures taken.
